Day 1: Cusco – Abra Málaga – Santa María

Day 4: Machu Picchu – Ollantaytambo – Cusco

  • 04:30 a.m. Hike to Machu Picchu (~1.5 hours)
  • Optional: Shuttle bus up to Machu Picchu (25 min)
  • 06:00 a.m. Guided tour of the Machu Picchu citadel (~2 hours)
  • 08:30 a.m. Free time for personal exploration
  • Return: Walk or optional bus down to Aguas Calientes
  • Train: Depart for Ollantaytambo (time depends on ticket)
  • Transfer: From Ollantaytambo back to Cusco
  • Arrival: Approx. 8:00 p.m. at Plaza San Francisco
