We begin picking up passengers at 4:30 am from different hotels or hostels. Then go to the community of Tinke at 3780 meters (12401 ft) (3 hours Approx) and take the detour to the village of Pacchanta at 4310 meters (14140 ft) (40 minutes approx). The place where we will have breakfast also a place where we start the tour through the seven lagoons (6.5 km or 4.3 miles approx).

We will have a five-hour walk visiting the lagoons of Azulqocha, Otorongo, Alqacocha, Q’omercocha, and Patacocha about 4740 meters (15551 ft) above sea level; Also we will see the Ausangate mountain which is 6380 meters (20932 ft).

During the trip, we will see native birds of the area, alpacas, llamas, many vizcachas, and hopefully, the Andean Condor. After finishing the tour, we will return to Pacchanta to enjoy lunch and to relax in the Pacchanta Hot Springs (Optional).

We will return to the city of Cusco (7:30 pm approximately).

3:00 p.m. Return to the city of Cusco.
7:00 p.m. Arrival to the city of Cusco.

Recommendations:

The excursion of the "The seven lagoons" It starts in a high altitude area, which varies between 4300 meters above sea level and 4740 meters above sea level. Therefore, the climate of the area is frigid. It is highly recommended to wear warm clothes like a cap, scarf, gloves, sweater, etc. It is also recommended to bring some snacks that provide energy and calories. All this just for a better experience. Also important is to have a raincoat or poncho, sunglasses, sunscreen, hat.
